ACT 3+
The Advisory Committee for Teachers in our 3+ Counties (Act 3+) is an organization of technology coordinators and directors within TCCSA member districts, created in 1995. The purpose of ACT3+ is to provide support for progress in the use of educational technology in the K-12 classroom. During the school year, ACT3+ members meet the second Tuesday of September, November, January, March and May.The goals of ACT3+ are as follows:
1. Training / Awareness
- keep up to date on technology trends and innovations
- provide training opportunities designed for the specific needs of each individual district
- act as liaison between the TCCSA professional development team and district staff members
2. Communication
- promote discussion among committee members/districts
- develop avenues for resource sharing
- foster cooperation and collaboration
3. Organization
- create leverage among our three+ counties for grant writing, purchasing and public relations
