astronaut one must spend many hours, days, months and yes-even years to
prepare to live and work in space. In this section you will discover the
many facets of astronaut training. You will keep a log and a checklist
of your training. You may take pictures (mac user may use pictify) of the
training to include in the log. You will present your experiences in a
presentation of hyperstudio, PowerPoint or some other presentation mode.(links)
Part II Planning Mission

your decision to spend the billions of taxpayer dollars and express this
in a one paragraph statement that will be included in part II of your presentation.
How have we benefited from 40 years of manned space exploration? Has space
technology been applied here on earth? Is there a benefit for research
solely for knowledge? If you are in a group you must divide the work and
assign jobs. (links)
