This webquest is AMERICAN made!!

The information it contains was put together in an effort to improve
fifth grade math instruction with the use of challenging story problems,
mathematically sound games, and motivating lesson plans that use
NBA statistics to teach students fraction, decimal, percentage equivalencies
and much more.  We hope that you will be able to use this

Introduction:

Have you ever been bored out of your wits during math class? Are you easily distracted when the discussion includes such topics as fractional equivalencies, compatible numbers and estimation based on place value? We can fully understand anyone answering yes to these questions. In other words, don't feel strange or out of it. In fact, you are not alone which is why we have created this fun, exciting, challenging and mesmerizing  ( you can look this word up in the dictionary ) website. Never again will you think of Math as boring. You will, however, think of Math a lot more.
