DESCRIPTION:Learn the basics of cataloging to get your items into the hands of readers. \n\nWhat’s new from INFOhio\nDumb vs Smart Barcodes\nSmartPORT Properties\nBrief Steps for Cataloging\nEnd of Year Calendar Request & 2027 CRD (compulsory return dates)\n\nFor TCCSA districts\, you have the option to STAY and use our lab to catalog your items. I will be on hand to assist with questions as they come up. Bring the books you want to catalog and stay as long as you are permitted by your district. The lab will be open until 3:30pm. Consider cataloging 6 books an hour when calculating what you can accomplish during this time. PLEASE bring your scanner and printed dumb barcodes / spine labels and any other protective stickers used in cataloging. Printers are available on site. Bring your own laptop if you prefer to use it -providing it has WorkFlows installed on it. \nAs always\, it’s okay to join us for part of this meeting.
