Field Service Technician

Tri-County Computer Services Association (TCCSA) has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician.  This person will be responsible for first-level technical support at member districts as contracted.  Primary responsibilities include hardware repairs, technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all technology systems found in the school setting. We are accepting applicants who are available to work full time or part time.

Full time option:

  • Associates’ Degree or 2 years of experience in an Information Technology position preferred.
  • 260 days per year, 8 hours per day (with ½ hour unpaid lunch)
  • Paid time off:  15 vacation days, 3 personal days, 15 sick days, 11 holidays per year
  • Membership in School Employees Retirement System.  Employee contributes 10% of total compensation as a payroll deduction.  Employer contributes the remainder.
  • Medical, dental, life insurance available.  85% employer paid.

Potential Part time option:

  • Applicant is currently working toward an Information Technology degree or certification.
  • The technician is expected to work 20 to 28 hours per week.  The technician’s work schedule will roughly align with the school day.  Schedule adjustments will be permitted when classes fall during work hours.
  • This is a year-round position (Monday through Friday, 260 days per year)
