This training is preferred to be In-Person with various district personnel. It is also suggested to bring a device to login and view your district’s data.
9:00-9:50 Introduction to the Secure Data Center for New users (Account must be created by your district OEDS representative, usually your EMIS coordinator)
10:00-12:00 Troubleshooting the Report Card Measure for your district
(Note: If you are not new the SDC feel free to join us at 10:00 but we encourage you to support district personnel that may be new to the SDC)
This training will assist EMIS Coordinators and other key district/school personnel in building foundational skills in data literacy to improve the ability for educators to better explore, understand, and communicate with data in a meaningful way. The new module will include real data troubleshooting opportunities reflecting some of the reporting issues experienced with the Report Card.

- Data Literacy and Data Teams
- The Secure Data Center and other tools for troubleshooting data
- Report Card data troubleshooting examples
Please note: The intent is for ITCs to offer the Tools for Troubleshooting Data Associated with Report Card Measures course to teams of district staff, which could include district and building administrators alongside district EMIS Coordinators. Districts are asked to have other key district staff in addition to the EMIS Coordinator attend this session.
